Meet the Researcher Behind the Files

Hey, I’m Amanda!

I’m the researcher behind The Case File Desk, a mom, and someone who has never been particularly good at leaving a rabbit hole alone. 😂

What started as a passion for digging into true-crime cases has grown into something much bigger: a place to ask questions, examine records, follow leads, and look beyond the headlines.

I’m not a detective, and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I’m an independent researcher who believes the details matter, sources matter, and every story deserves more than a quick headline.

Here, you’ll find case research, timelines, public records, unanswered questions, and the occasional rabbit hole that takes us somewhere unexpected.

Give me a rabbit hole. I’ll follow the paper trail.

Welcome to Beyond the Headlines. 🖤
